I am Tony Bridge, a Maaori artist (Te Rarawa, Te Rapuwai, Waitaha) and a proud Aotearoan. I have always been passionate about weaving words and pictures and expressing my love for the Taiao (natural world) through my creative works. I am a photographer with 40 years of experience, a published author, a poet, and a fine artist. I am one of the 250 World Masters in a Few of the Legends, a book featuring the best photographers in the world in the last 35 years. My work is in private collections in Aotearoa/New Zealand, Australia, the USA, Germany, Italy and the UK. I am also a Fujifilm Global Ambassador and a columnist for Better Photography Magazine. I enjoy teaching and mentoring others who want to develop their artistic skills and vision. I also use traditional methods to help people with their life journey as a kaiwhakamaarama (teacher/counsellor). I believe that art is a powerful way to connect with ourselves and each other and protect the environment.
